Cookie Policy

1. The short version

This site sets one cookie of its own, and it is the one the enquiry form cannot work without. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie and no cross-site tracker here. That is also why you were not asked to accept anything on arrival: a banner is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and we do not set any.

2. The cookie we set

• The session cookie. It does two jobs. It carries the token that proves a submitted form came from you on this site and not from somewhere else pretending to be you — without it, sending the form fails. And it remembers how you first arrived, so that when you do send an enquiry we can tell whether you came from a search, a link or a campaign, without having to ask you.

It is strictly necessary for the form, it expires with your session, and only this site can read it.

3. Cookies our network provider sets

This site sits behind Cloudflare, which serves it quickly and absorbs attacks. Cloudflare sets cookies of its own that are not ours and that we do not control:

• __cf_bm — tells automated traffic from people, so the site stays available.
• cf_clearance — set only if you are shown a security challenge, to remember that you passed it.

They are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We mention them because a page claiming ours is the only cookie in your browser would simply be untrue.

4. What we deliberately do not do

No advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels. No cross-site trackers. No third-party analytics building a profile of you. Visits are counted with a hash that is regenerated from a new random salt every day and cannot be linked from one day to the next — the Privacy Policy explains exactly how.

5. Controlling cookies

Your browser can block or delete cookies for this site. Blocking ours has one visible consequence: the enquiry form stops working, because the token that protects it has nowhere to live. Everything else on the site reads normally. That is a limitation of how forms are protected on the web, not a choice we made to punish you for blocking cookies.
